Justin Knowlton meeting with a client to discuss digital marketing strategy

Strategy starts with a real conversation.

Understanding the business, customer and opportunity before recommending the channel.

Based in Windsor, Ontario

Direct, practical support from strategy through implementation.

How I work

Clear strategy, useful execution and honest measurement.

My work sits where marketing, technology and customer experience meet. I learn how a business operates, identify what its customers need to understand and build the content, campaigns and digital tools that connect the two.

That has included building and improving websites, managing paid-search campaigns, developing SEO content, supporting online stores, producing tutorial videos and structuring technical documentation for specialized products.

I do not believe every business needs every channel. The right approach depends on the audience, market, budget, internal capacity and goals. My role is to identify the most useful priorities, explain the reasoning clearly and implement the work carefully.

Experience built in the real world

Marketing where accuracy, usability and operations all matter.

My background includes long-term work with BorderConnect and BorderPrint across specialized software marketing, cross-border industry education, e-commerce, digital acquisition, technical publishing and customer support. You can review my public professional history on LinkedIn.

Specialized software and education

Turning complex workflows into useful customer journeys.

Cross-border software and customs documentation are technical subjects. Working in this environment has strengthened my ability to research carefully, write clearly and create websites, campaigns, tutorials and support resources that help customers act with confidence.

E-commerce and operations

Seeing the customer journey beyond the click.

My experience extends from acquisition and storefront merchandising into product setup, production coordination, fulfilment and support. That wider view helps me evaluate marketing using lead quality, customer clarity and the business’s ability to deliver—not traffic alone.

Technical publishing

Building content that continues working.

I have developed and maintained technical knowledge resources using MediaWiki, structured templates, custom styling, video embeds and search-focused information architecture.

This work has shaped how I organize information for customers, conventional search engines and AI-assisted discovery.
